Gorgeous Yarn, Never got to work with it

I was drawn to this yarn with the Idira Ghandi color way Plus: The yardage is a whopping 560 yards, and it is a superwash. The yarn is classified as a luxury yarn, but the only fiber that would make is any more luxurious than a standard sock/fingering yarn is 25% mohair. The Negative- I put the yarn on my swift, and quickly realized- it was a knotted mess. I tried to un-knot it- but to no avail. The entire ball had to be thrown in the trash= unsalvagable. It was then when it was pointed out to me that they actually have instructions for balling- Which leads me to believe this happens more often than not, judging from the instructions. Hopefully others have better luck with this yarn than I did. It should be noted that I re-ball all yarn that I use. Whether it is in ball form or hank, and I have been doing this for a better part of 8+ years, so it is not as though I don't know how to use my swift and baller.
