|
The yarn has a beautiful sheen. I used some of it to work on a "travelling scarf" which meant that the scarf will ultimately belong to another person. I was disappointed to find a huge knot that had been tied early on in the ball--it was like a big X.

The yarn is very loosely plied. I think that there are about 6 or 8 minute threads making up the ply and they tend to get loose even with the most dedicated attention.

The yarn does have a wonderful sheen; and I suspect that the scarf will look good if one does not look at the individual stitches too carefully. I had no idea how to weave in the knot and left it for a more talented sewer/crafter.

| this is a FABULOUS colorway...be sure to get some while they are in stock. I ordered both the sock and the worsted, they arrived today, and I just had to have more. The sock is a much more rich combo of colors, but the worsted is also most lovely...(I just ordered more sock yarn)

| I have made this wrap numerous times. It is beautiful. I do, however, make it much longer (which requires more yarn obviously). It's a beautiful simple wrap in Cascade Yarns' "Luna" which requires larger needles and, again, much more yarn. |

I'm not normally fond of metal needles, and have been increasingly replacing my metal straights with bamboo, birch, or rosewood straights.
However, these circular needles live up to their advertising - knitting with them is very smooth and quick. I never would have thought I'd find myself recommending these needles, but they're worth the price. |

| This is a wonderful yarn to work with. It has great yardage and the finished garment is sporty and looks more wooly than it feels. The yarn instead has a soft hand. It slides along your needle smoothly and does not split if you have to pick up a dropped stitch. In addition, it does not pill. Stitch definition I would say is average...not crisp because of the varigation in the yarn, but not fuzzy either. All and all, a delight to work with, and I this yarn will not be discontinued. |

| This is the most gorgeous yarn - it is the softest cotton I have ever felt, and the colors are beautiful. Even better- it is organically grown! I will be buying more of this one! |
