| Koigu Premium Merino (KPM) Solid colors are pure hand painted beauty! The beauty of hand-dyed yarns is that each hank is a unique work of art, so please be aware that there can be a variation in coloring, hue and saturation, even within the same dye batch. Each dye lot is "painted" individually and then heat is applied to fix the dyes. Read the full description... |

Overall KPM Solid Rating: (4.8 based on 12 reviews) |
Rating: (5 out of 5) |
| I needed to ripped out a worn foot from my Koigu socks knit a few years ago. Jimmy Beans was the only yarn shop that had the color I needed. I'm now a big fan of Jimmy Beans, they made it possible for me to reknit my favorite socks. |

| I'm impressed with this yarn. It's both soft and sturdy. Not a very squishy yarn, but that's in its favor this time. It's comfortable to wear. |

| I like the tight twist and subtle colors in the KPM solid. I've only started knitting with this yarn, so I don't know how the project will hold up, but I'm impressed so far. |

| I use Koigu more than any other yarn. It is beautiful to work with and produces beautiful products. I have made scarves, hats, gloves and even a sweater. It surrises you when you use two or three colors intermittently and always is gorgeous.

| With this yarn I'm making a long scarf in one of my favorite cables and lace stitch patterns. The yarn is wonderful. I love all the variegated colors of Koigu but wanted a solid. This is a beautiful solid with the intensity of their other yarns. Soft and silky looking, it will probably be appropriated by a friend the first time I wear it. But I'm already thinking of using this yarn for a lace shawl pattern. |
