Madelinetosh Tosh Sock Yarn - Antler Reviews

Madelinetosh Tosh Sock Yarn - Antler
Antler shown $25.50
Note: Dyed by hand in small batches, Madelinetosh yarns do not come in dye lots. We do our best to visually match hanks for each order and will contact you via email if one or more hanks differ noticeably from the others. The beauty of hand-dyed yarns is that each hank is a unique work of art, so please be aware that there can be a variation in coloring, hue and saturation, even within the same dye batch.

If you have any questions, give us a call or check out our videos on working with hand-dyed yarns!

Madelinetosh Sock is a 100% superwash merino wool and is available in luscious glazed solid colorways. With a generous 395 yards per skein one skein is enough yardage to complete a woman's size large pair of socks. Each squishy soft skein of the Madeline Tosh Sock is hand-dyed in small dye lots and machine washable.

Not just for socks! 5 out of 5 stars (5 out of 5)
This colorway is for socks to go with a sweater that I knitted of Tosh Pashmina, but I have knitted sweaters with Tosh Sock Yarn in other colorways. They are delightfully soft with no hint of stiffness despite the yarn's tight twist, and they hold up well without the almost-instant pilling that is characteristic of so many merino yarns. Monochrome shadings are beautiful, and I seldom see any pooling. This yarn is great for socks, too, but I wouldn't use it for socks that get frequent wear unless I'm willing to add a strand of nylon yarn to heels and toes.

Great all wool sock yarn 5 out of 5 stars (5 out of 5)
I normally knit socks in wool/nylon blends but I make an exception for Tosh Sock. Holds up nicely with wear and gives good stitch definition. One skein is a bit short for a pair of men's 9.5 socks for my boyfriend but two is just enough for a pair for him and a pair for me women's size 5.5 so it all evens out.

Perfect sock yarn!!! 5 out of 5 stars (5 out of 5)
Making my husband socks for the first time on 2 circular needles. He loves the Weathered Frame colorway and is watching as the socks grow.

Love working with this yarn! 5 out of 5 stars (5 out of 5)
Just started knitting not to long ago, and though I don't know a whole lot about yarn, this was a very easy yarn to work with.
