Addi - Addi Steel Double Point Needles
Sturdy DPs 5 out of 5 stars
Bought these specifically for making socks on size 000 dps. Very glad I did because they are very sturdy and I needed the longer length because of the over 100 stitches, sometimes 120 sts. As with all things Addi they are superior dps.

Cascade - Cascade 220 Sport
A Favorite 5 out of 5 stars
I love the Cascade yarns for their quality, affordable prices and wide range of colors. I bought the sport-weight to make a lace crochet shawl and it's turning out lovely. It will make a lovely warm gift.

Shibui - Baby Alpaca DK
Softer than Kitten Fur 5 out of 5 stars
The yarn is amazingly soft. The color is gorgeousI bought the raspberry. A couple of knitting friends and I got together and I brought the yarn. I could barely get it back. It's working up beautifully and is definitely worth the price. This should be a beautiful shawl when I'm finally finished.

Lorna's Laces - Shepherd Sport
Gorgeous yarn 5 out of 5 stars
I love this yarn. I wish I could have it in every color. Unfortunately it's expensive because I need several skeins so I have to limit my purchases. Shepherd Sport is wonderful to work with and knits up beautifully. I've made a few shawls with this yarn and highly recommend it for that special project for a close friend or family member.

Cascade - Cascade 220 Sport
An economical favorite 4 out of 5 stars
This is a favorite sport-weight yarn that doesn't break the bank. I use it for a favorite shawl pattern that requires over 900 yards. I just wish it came in more colors.

Brooklyn Tweed - Brooklyn Tweed Patterns
Another Lovely pattern from Brooklyn 5 out of 5 stars
Haven't made this wrap yet but it's on my list. I recommend that anyone that likes the look of this wrap, should visit the Brooklyn Tweed site to see all of their wonderful patterns. A few years ago our guild hosted Jared for a weekend of the workshops he teaches and he was very informative and even our advanced knitters learned new techniques. Knowing JB, they probably have all the Brooklyn Tweed patterns.

Cascade - Cascade 220 Sport
A Favorite winter shawl yarn 5 out of 5 stars
This is one of my favorite yarns that I use to make warm, winter shawls for friends. The colors are gorgeous, the yarn soft and the recipients very happy to receive the finished shawl. It's also a very economical yarn.

Koigu - KPM Solid
Soft yarn for scarves 5 out of 5 stars
With this yarn I'm making a long scarf in one of my favorite cables and lace stitch patterns. The yarn is wonderful. I love all the variegated colors of Koigu but wanted a solid. This is a beautiful solid with the intensity of their other yarns. Soft and silky looking, it will probably be appropriated by a friend the first time I wear it. But I'm already thinking of using this yarn for a lace shawl pattern.

Rowan - Rowan Knitting Magazines
Beautiful and challenging patterns 4 out of 5 stars
If I had the time and money I'd make at least half the sweaters in this issue. There is also an article on Shetland Lace.

Classics patterns, many looked like they were out of the 1950's. Section on Intarsia knitting. I bought it for the gorgeous Jewel Square Wrap.
