Craftvent is back! This year, cast on to a scarf, in either knit or crochet, that results in a gorgeous finished project at the end of the month - think of it like a month-long Christmas gift to yourself (or your loved ones)! Take pride in the project you've accomplished, which utilizes different stitch patterns for a fun challenge in each section. Both projects use Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light fingering weight yarn for an elegant project fit for any snow queen this season! This scarf keeps you on your toes the whole time, honing your already impressive skills and gives you a fun activity to take part in every day in December!
The knit Craftvent project was designed by our own Bean, Amy Gunderson, lovingly named the Tidings to Yew Scarf! Inspired by the chilly season and intricate snowflakes, she got to work on a gorgeous, lacy wrap.
Are you a crocheter? This project is for you too! The crochet version of this scarf was designed by none other than CocoCrochetLee! The aptly named Ginger Snap Wrap features advanced crochet techniques to give you some brain food this season with different cable work in each section as well as some other techniques peppered in!
Both options have two festive colorways to choose from
- Cinnamon Sugar: Warm and cozy, this colorway reminds us of baked goods with warm neutrals and autumn shades.
- Northern Lights: Fun and festive, this colorway is made up of cool blues, frosty purples, and wintery whites.
