If you're a fan of Alpaca, like me, you'll love this. This super soft yarn, is cool to the touch but will keep you warm and toasty. Everyone that comes in contact with the hats and scarves I've made with this yarn coos and begs for one of their own. It does have a tendency to shed while working with it, but holds up during wear. My husband also has knit with this yarn, however he's a bit more inexperienced than I am, and he had a problem with it splitting.

I used this double strand to make multiple Christmas hats, the colors are beautiful and classic, the softness is unbelievable, and the service has been outstanding. Thank you!

This yarn is really incredibly soft and silky, not spikey like some alpacas. And it gets better after washing, developing a soft weightiness that also has a beautiful drape. Really, really love this yarn.

 Wonderfully Cozy 6 of 20

First let me start off by telling you that I love Alpaca fiber so I was destined to love this yarn. I used this particular yarn to knit hats as gifts this year. The yarn is light, springy but is still very warm and cozy. You get a surprising amount of yarn for what you purchase. I was able to knit a whole hat with on skein of this and still have enough to embellish other things with. It was a delight to work with. Minor thing to note: While knitting it does tend to shed.

This yarn has a really soft and smooth hand and was a quick knit project. Would recommend it to other knitters. If you want a chunky yarn, this one is great - and a good value, too!
