| When I am doing fiddly parts of knitting with dpn's, I frequently find myself using my mouth as a third hand, or to prevent a vacant needle from rolling away. Most of the bamboo needles I've used bear some major bite marks, to the point where they will break when gripped with a little extra intensity. However, these delightful hardwood needles seem to be impervious even to my famous jaw-clenching moods ... I am amazed as I bind off each project and return the needles to their rightful place that I can't find a single trace of toothmarks, anywhere! My Brittany dpn's are quickly becoming my tool of choice for a number of projects, for this very reason! |
