| these are short needles with fairly sharp points. they are excellent for knitting socks. they come with 6 needles in the set an extra is already included in case one breaks..... but don't let that trick you, they are VERY sturdy.... none have broken so far! |

| These are very nice double pointed needles. I am using them for socks and would have liked them even better if they were shorter. The point is not so pointed that it snags the yarn and the body is stiff enough for such a small 2 needle. I would order again. |

| I just used these to make some heavy duty slipper socks and was worried a few times that the needles would break because of how stiff and thick the yarn was, but nope!! The needles gave just enough so that I was able to finish my project without any disasters. Felt good in my hand. |
