Addi Swing Hooks Needles - A (2.00mm) Needles Reviews

Addi Swing Hooks Needles - A (2.00mm) Needles
A (2.00mm) Needles shown $13.50
If you enjoy crochet, this is your lucky day! Skacel and Addi are extremely proud to announce their newest line of crochet hooks, the Addi Swing. Developed with comfort in mind, the handle is constructed of two plastics: one colorful and soft, and the other, white and firm. The two balance each other perfectly for just the right amount of flexibility. The handle warms quickly to the temperature of your skin and is precisely contoured to rest comfortably in your hand, thus eliminating pressure points. In fact, the Swing hook feels so good, those who don't crochet, will want to learn. To top it off (literally), is the classic addi Turbo hook that slides easily in and out of stitches. All the hooks are color coded by size, and the metric size is boldly printed on the handle. Please note: All Addi crochet hooks in size B are truly 2.5mm in diameter instead of 2.25mm; size C are truly 3.0mm instead of 2.75mm; size F are truly 4.0mm instead of 3.75mm; size G are truly 4.5mm instead of 4.0mm; size K are truly 7.0mm instead of 6.5mm. Hooks labeled 3.75mm are truly size F/3.75mm.

Great ergonomic hook 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
I love how the Addi Swing conforms to my hand. It makes for painless crocheting for me. Traditional hooks tend to give me hand cramps. Whether this hook helps you may depend on how you hold your hook or your hand size. In any case, I would suggest trying this if other hooks make your crochet hand hurt.

Nice hook handle could be better 3 out of 5 (3 out of 5)
I love the way the hook glides in and out of the yarn. I wish all of my hooks were this smooth. The handle isn't as comfortable as I thought it would be.

Addi Swing Crochet Hook 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
I am an inexperienced crocheter, but love this crochet hook. It is so comfortable to use. I must admit that I'm a fan of all addi needles, they are the only ones I knit with. This is my first Addi crochet hook and I have not been disappointed.

A Better Hook! 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
While I do not do crochet, I do use hooks for my knitting for catching dropped stitches and doing borders. This is an improvement on the standard hook and will be perfect for socks and fingerling/lace weight yarns I use for lightweight scarves and sweaters!

Not for the small-of-hand! 3 out of 5 (3 out of 5)
I'm an arthritic tool junkie and have tried nearly all available hooks. The concept of this hook is wonderful! The handle is smooth (sooo much better than their turbos!) and the thumb rest is very comfortable. It has a smooth slightly pointed tip and a shortish throat for speedy hooking, tho the hook is a bit shallow. Sadly, it is too big for my hand (3" across) and, therefore, not comfortable to use.

Addi Swing Hooks - best so far! 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
I just received my Addi Swing Hook about two weeks ago and it's one of the most comfortable hooks I have every crocheted with. It's light weight and fits nicely into your hand. It does not cause hand cramps, even after hours of crocheting. So, this is the perfect hook for those of you who have arthritis.
