Perfect Accompaniment to Train Case
I’m embarrassed to say that I ordered the Knitter’s Buddy Case twice: the first one I exchanged for the Interchangeable Buddy Case because I wanted room for a couple Interchangeable needle tips and a crochet hook. But that one takes up too much real estate in my Knitter’s Train Case! So the Interchangeable Case has gone on to live in my Knitter’s Tote and I have a brand new pink Buddy Case for my grey train case. Whew! It really is palm-sized and VERY nicely constructed. On one side I have a needle gauge and tape measure. The other side holds my little embroidery scissors, some tapestry needles, and the included Namaste tin full of stitch markers. A note on the Namaste tin: mine is NOT magnetized it sticks to the magnetic sides of the Buddy Case but not to the metal lid of the train case.

I love this bag!
I already own the Knitter’s Train Case, which is perfect for a two-skein project, but I have four sweaters in the queue for 2019 and wanted a bag that would hold everything I need for a larger project. The Namaste Knitter’s Tote Bag delivers! In one compartment I have a dozen 50 g yarn balls corralled in an XL Oh Snap! pouch. On the other side is a smaller Oh! Snap! Pouch with the two skeins I’m using right now, and an Interchangeable Buddy Case for all my notions. The sweater pattern itself is tucked in the front pocket. The grey vegan leather is gorgeous, almost a warm taupe, and very substantial. Filled, the tote stands nicely on its own thanks to the five metallic feet on the bottom. And I love all the knitter specific touchesâ€the key leash that doubles as a tape measure the stitch marker and especially the lotus leaf yarn feeder that works really well. I see myself using this tote every day!

New favorite knitting bag!
I do most of my knitting on planes so this charming case was love at first sight. While I covet the soft pink, I thought the dark grey would be more practical for frequent travel and it's a gorgeous color in person. The case holds two 100 g yarn cakes side by side, perfect for smaller colorwork projects like hats, mittens, or the Christmas stocking I just finished. The magnets inside the lid are a nice toucha standard letter-sized page folded in half fits easily with extra room around the edges. My only criticism is that the ribbons holding the lid up are positioned differently than in the photos/video review so that the ribbon on the right blocks access to that clever yarn feeder when the lid is open. You have to close the lid partially before feeding the yarn into the U. Not a big deal.

Nifty notions storage
Nicely constructed and holds everything I need for a project. One side holds my scissors, tapestry needles, and a tin with stitch markers other side has room for tape measure, highlighter, and buttons and grosgrain ribbon for sweater. Crochet hook and a couple sizes of interchangeable needles and cables fit nicely in the clever divider.
I will say that, while this does fit in the adorable Namaste train case, it takes up a lot of spacenot enough room for yarn. I'm going to use the Interchangeable Buddy Case to go in my larger Namaste tote bag and ordered the smaller Buddy Case for the train case.
