colors bleed
Spent 2 months + working on the true colors shawl. Went to block my shawl. Put my shawl in a soak of cold water and a special wash for wool. Left it in for barely 2 minutes, thankfully kept a lot of the lighter portion on top out of the main water and the pinks in the shawl bled into my cream main color. SO SO SO disappointed. I have been knitting since 2005 and I have NEVER had yarn dye bleed like this. I will NEVER purchase Lornas Laces again. Never never never. This one thing took away from the joy of finishing my project. ðŸ˜

soft and lovely!
I used 3 skien of this to arm knit a blanket. This is a great yarn for that, and though the stitches will be loose, the end result it beautiful. I did mine in Scarlet and my blanket was around 36 x 60 or bigger. It was a super perfect throw size. I have a ravelry account by the same account name and a picture there.
The balance of the alpaca with the plain wool makes the yarn soft and not as itchy. This does shed quite a bit, but I personally like that it is natural and not superwash. Overall ... This is up there with a yarn I would TOTALLY purchase again.

favorite yarn ever
This is hands down, my favorite yarn ever. Is is super soft merino, which is the least itchiest of the wools out there to me. It is similar to SugarBush Chill but a better value. especially if you can find it on sale. I find this knits well with larger needles. I currently am knitting a blanket with this yarn for my Momma. I am knitting it on size 35s and it it just soft and lovely. I *LOVE* this yarn. It reminds me of the softness of Malabrigo non-superwash yarn or KnitPicks Preciosa Tonal. One skien makes an excellently sized cowl, but if you play your cards just right you can make two cowls from one skien.
