Love Malabrigo yarn. So much vitriol over the colors of the 1st shipment. Yeah, when I opened the package & saw Christmas colors in March, I wasn’t happy either. I particularly don’t care for red/green combo anyway. When you sign up for a subscription service, you are signing up for something new & to get you out of your comfort zone. Although I like the skeins separately they still represent Christmas to me. I combined the skeins together to tone the colors down. They are so much better together. I’m also not happy about the drying of the yarn. I live in a Apt., no space to dry things flat, & I always forget which yarns are feltable after they are out of the skein band & end up felting them by mistake.

Loved both colors. Just wish it came in the Tosh Vintage base. Both color-ways perfectly match the respective characters.

I bought the black version. Although I love the tape measure, the yarn is unraveling from the llama form after only a few uses.

I was surprised to find out the glasses were glass, not plastic. Love how they were packaged for shipment, the yarn was inside the glasses, which were placed into a foam shipping tray to prevent the glasses from getting broken during shipping. Might have to get another color-way option, if they don’t sell out. Love all the color-ways.

Bought both the Wild Cards & Cool color-way options. Both were great. Cool option had mostly purple colors, my favorite color. The Wild Card option had speckled color-ways in blues & greens, with a couple splashed with pinks. Loved both color-way sets. Will be interesting seeing these color-ways worked up. It’s a shame some of these color-ways won’t be standard colors.
