I cannot say enough good things about this yarn. I have been knitting for a decade. This is my favorite yarn I have ever worked with. The sheen from the silk is beautiful, and it has a wonderful hand to it. It’s so soft and luxurious. It’s very expensive, but good for that, oh so special, project.

It matches perfectly with the other shibui products which is why I bought this one. It doesn’t feel different than other silk mohair blends I have worked with. It functions great, I just cried when I saw the price tag.

Knits up luminous and gorgeous.

Worth the money

I bought 5 skeins in an array of colors. I did a guage swatch for my colorwork sweater project. When I blocked my swatch, the colored portion came out pink. I believe it is the colorway firewood that bled. At 26$ a skein I don’t think I should have to worry about bleeding or preventing bleeding with acid. I had to buy additional yarn for my project and do extra swatches. so I am disappointed.
