Thought I was going to love it
I have 2 cats who love to sit on my lap while I knit. It gets a bit crowded. My plan was to use the train case as a yarn bowl and then at night, put the project in the train case, because sometimes they want to curl up on my knitting and claws accidentally make pulls in the WIP. Well, when it got here I immediately loaded it up but because of the design of the hole to feed the yarn, it was a mess. The working strands kept getting caught sideways between the lid and the base. Over a knitting period of 10 minutes, I had to stop six times to fix it so it would feed properly. This is an added annoyance, so I'm returning the train case and going to search for a different solution. The case is sturdy and nicely-made, and the blush color was pretty good although darkish and greyed - not what I would actually call blush.

Could use a little work
I would like this better if the back of the insert also had loops for needle tip storage. I'm able to store my most-used tips in the insert, but have the rest of them bundled in rubber bands underneath it, which is a bit hokey. I did discover that by trimming off about 1/4 from the bottom of the journal, it fits nicely in my passport case, which I never use for my passport anymore because the TSA guys always make me remove it anyway. This passport case doesn't fit in the Buddy Case, but it does fit in my bag. I may get a second one of these to organize the rest of my needle tips.
