Nice needles
I used these needles to knit a sweater. I like the smooth tips. The white marking on the needles wears off very easily, not something I'd expect in a high-end needle. The sizes are also etched on the metal, however.
I also like that they are in a compact case, but the case is not very pretty and it's kind of hard to get a hold of the zipper and then I have to unzip around corners to get it open and closed. I don't really care that much for the plastic on the case and inside the needles are divided into two sections, whereas I'd prefer them all in one place. The single pocket in the back holds the accessories, but it's just one deep pocket for everything and I'd like to have those things separated by type.
The needles themselves work well and have a pretty nice feel while knitting, although I'm a bit bothered by join of the tips to the middle black section. I would prefer that to be all one piece. The needles stay screwed in securely and I had no trouble figuring out how to get cables on and off.

Soft and beautiful
I made a lacy cowl and cabled gloves with this. The color change is subtle enough that it doesn't diminish textural stitch effects. My only concern is that it bled a lot of color when I washed it. I'm glad I washed it in the sink and not with my other clothes. I'll definitely be buying more Lorna's Laces.
