I have never used a Whirl before and was anxious to try it out. The colors blend together nicely and I like the little fuzzy that warns of a color change. The yarn is a soft blend. The colors are beautiful except for the dishwater grey in the middle. Yuk. Alas I was sad to discover the yarn is cranked out in China.

I definitely learned a lot from this CAL so far. Many of us are not even close to finishing due to all the little pieces and joins. In scrumptious, the blanket is huge and heavy. To give you an idea, it is more than big enough as a King Sized Bedspread. Scrumptious yarn is nice but I still prefer natural fibers or part natural fibers. The videos for each part are a life saver. I’m reducing my blanket to a throw by eliminating certain parts. Scrumptious kit is definitely a bargain on sale. Can be used for toys and smaller things. Kit is short on red colors and long on blues and greens.
