Cascade - Ultra Pima Fine
Quality yarn

This is a soft yarn with a nice satin feel... it not shiny or stiff like a lot of cheaper cotton yarns. I use this brand to make breast prosthesis called “Knitted Knockers” check out site on line.

Nice feel

I think for a cotton yarn, this is very soft, smooth and silky. Feels very rich to the touch. I am using this to make knitted knockers for breast cancer patients. Out of several cotton yarns for this project...this is my first choice.

Love this brand/yarn

This is a very nice quality yarn. I like the nice feel of the yarn it is soft, yet it holds up nicely when the project is finished. The colors offered are beautiful, better than a computer screen can possibly show. I have been making some very pretty fingerless gloves, which have turned out beautifully.

I love the surprise

I like the surprise of what I am going to make, and the yarn that I am going to sample working on my project. The only minus is that you have to be careful how much tail you leave to weave in, or you might not have enough to finish the row. Other than that its fun to do something you don't know what its going to look like when done.

Manos Del Uruguay - Alegria
color beautiful

I have a pattern for a pair of fancy fingerless gloves..having buttons up the back of the glove. I decided I wanted a victorian type of muted colors, and have it be a light flowery mix of colors. The colors of this yarn have all the colors of spring, but are muted, not shocking bright. Love this color. Also, of course this yarn is wonderfully soft, and is knitting up nicely.

Pretty Nice!

Bought this yarn for a hat, which is waiting until I get done with current project. But, the feel of this yarn is very nice, but then it is Swans Island, and their yarn is wonderful. I tend to save their yarn..until I am sure the project is worthy.
