One of my faves
I have been weaving, knitting and crocheting with Urth Yarns, and am in love with the softness and the lovely color changes. It is unusual to find such a soft yarn with the strength as well, but Urth Uneek has mastered it.

A trip to a gallery
I’m just beginning a wrap with This Is Just To Say Pashmina by Tosh, and I kept thinking it looked like a Pointillist painting. So I thought maybe Seurat. Sure enough, there is a painting called Banks of the River Seine 1888, I believe, that clearly shows these colors all knit up. I wish I could add a picture here. This yarn not only has immaculate colors, it is super soft and I also love the energy. Stitches are really well defined, and the knitting is truly a joy with the springy nature of the yarn. I want several hanks of each color now. Truly awesome!

So Perfect!
I took my Maker's Backpack on a long weekend vacation, and I was so pleased to take two projects, my usual purse items, a book, and all of the toiletries I would need. I loved having so many pockets and compartments, and never felt the need to unpack it, whether we were out to dinner or strolling around. In fact, I got tons of compliments on it. I truly love it~

I didn't read the description...
I do love my set of Chiaogoo Tunisian Crochet hooks, but I'm still scratching my head over the fact that, although the product is clearly labeled as Spin, there ARE NO SPIN CABLES included! This is not Jimmy Bean's fault. In the description above, it clearly says, Pairs with Spin Cables. Shame on Chiaogoo for not including Spin cables! Shame on me for not paying more attention to the details! Nonetheless, I have ordered the cables. Just be aware.

Awesome Sauce!
Wow. These needles feel so great in my hands, and the yarn just glides over the cord, the join and the needle. The cords only have slight memory and, once used for a moment and warmed up, don't kink or twist. I love that I can easily measure in so many ways.

Love 'Em!
I received the interchangeable knitting needles in the Della Q case for Christmas. First of all, I'm so glad for the beautiful case. I love that the cords come in a removable zippered pouch since I store my needles in a special drawer. Now I have a notions bag I can take with me. Currently, I have a baby afghan on the needles and am about half way through. The needles are a lovely wood that feels awesome. They have enough length to give me grip, but not so long that they feel strange. The tips are not blunt, but not lace, which is a very nice thing for every project, really. I really did love being able to measure out wraps per inch on the needle, and ended up with just the right amount of tail with no yarn waste. Bonus! The join is smooth and secure. The cords do have memory, and I let them soak a few minutes in hot tap water to relax them, and pulled them tight as they cooled. No kinks! Brilliant set.

I can't believe I said that
So, when I first started this project, I was completely overwhelmed because I didn't understand the organic, yet perfectly formed instructions. I initially gave it three stars. After sharing my work with the author who got back to me in less than 12 hours, I am in love with it. I am a perfection-seeking knitter, and I often have no faith in my work. This pattern is different but, if you follow the directions, don't stress out over what you THINK should be happening and just go along, it is gorgeous. There is a FB group to join, and the author is super helpful. Please give it a try! It is worth it to expand yourself with experience in doing things that are a bit of a challenge. Have faith in the process and the pattern.
