Madelinetosh Pashmina Yarn Reviews

Note: Dyed by hand in small batches, Madelinetosh yarns do not come in dye lots. We do our best to visually match hanks for each order and will contact you via email if one or more hanks differ noticeably from the others. The beauty of hand-dyed yarns is that each hank is a unique work of art, so please be aware that there can be a variation in coloring, hue and saturation, even within the same dye batch.

If you have any questions, give us a call or check out our videos on working with hand-dyed yarns!

Madelinetosh Pashmina is a 3-ply yarn made up of 75% superwash merino wool, 15% silk and 10% cashmere, a similar fiber blend to the famous woven pashmina scarves. This machine washable blend is hand-dyed in small dye lots and knits up to create a soft fabric with great drape.

Awesome Yarn! 5 out of 5 stars (5 out of 5)
I have not actually used this yarn yet, but I have knitted with this yarn before and loved it. That is why I bought this yarn again. As it's going through your hands while knitting the experience is wonderful almost like a zen moment. Stitch definition is very good and just produces a beautiful knitted piece.

Love, love, love Madelinetosh! 5 out of 5 stars (5 out of 5)
I am so excited to get this on sale for a project that I have been waiting for the perfect yarn. Madelintosh yarns are exquisite. They make beautiful projects. I must confess that I am a Madelinetosh hoarder. 😊

Favorite yarn 5 out of 5 stars (5 out of 5)
MT is a wonderful yarn, very soft against the skin, love the colors they come up with. Can't beat MT or Jimmy Beans.

Love This Yarn 5 out of 5 stars (5 out of 5)
This yarn is wonderful. It is soft both when knitting and when wearing. The colors are wonderful. I have used both the Coquette and the Arctic. While they look monochromatic and solid in the skein, the variation of the colors gives depth. And it is still machine washable, although I have only hand washed. Knowing it won't felt on me gives me confidence.

Color was way off the photo. 3 out of 5 stars (3 out of 5)
Very disappointed in the Arches color - not even close to the photo and very unappealing. I love Pashmina - just not this color.

Indispensable combination of fibers! 5 out of 5 stars (5 out of 5)
You cannot really go wrong with any Madelinetosh yarns, but the Pashmina is the most outstanding. The material is the easiest and best to work with. It doesn’t split and truly is the best. I have used it for shawls, fingerless gloves, berets and hats, and each finished item was gorgeous. The stitch definition is pristine you are guaranteed beautiful results!
