Koigu Pencil Box Yarn - Rural Reviews

The pencil box gives such a beautiful gradient of blended colors. Such wonderful feel in the hand! Love it!

The colors were exactly as shown. I hesitated to purchase but decided that they would be great even if not exactly like the picture. But they were! I can't wait to knit something with them, especially after watching Stephen West discussing what to do with 'yarn worms'mini skeins. Lovely yarn, lovely colors.

I originally left a 3 star review complaining that a couple of the colors in this set were not as shown. JBW contacted me about the review and resolved the issue I should have contacted them first. Over all the colors are more muted than they appear in the image I'm ok with this, but they are very beautiful, earthy, fall colors, and the project I'm using them for is knitting up nicely.

This goes beyond differences in display devices. Some of the colors are not the same and they don't transition as nicely as the ones shown. There are three, nearly identical very light pinks two may actually be identical and no darker pink to transition into the orange. There is also a random pale yellow in the box that I'm not very pleased with there is no yellow shown in the picture. Either someone made a mistake when they put this together or they ran out of the advertised colors and swapped 2-3 of the colors with things that don't work as well. I loved the original progression, so I'm disappointed to have gotten something different - I'm especially sad to be missing the dark pink

I have bought four of these boxes of 10 mini skeins of Koigu. I love working with the yarn and watching the project grow into a myriad of colors. Jimmy's sent it out quickly!

Disappointed, colors very bland

Was a little disappointed in the colors they were a little bland for my taste. Didn't send back. I will find a use for them somewhere. \

Love the colors in Dance Party and am almost finished with my Departure Shawl from Vogue Knitting Summer 2020. This yarn is not as soft as some others I've been working with recently but is still easy to knit with and consistent quality.

Beautiful and soft. It's going to make a beautiful shawl. I also received my order quickly!
