Edgewise Mitts, named after their sideways construction are a crochet take on classic ribbed fingerless mitts. Using simple half double crochet stitches worked into back loops creates a stretchy, lofty rib. The thumb gusset is shaped with slip stitch short rows. Can be worn pulled down over the fingers, or with the hem folded.
