A subtle diagonal stitch pattern creates a reversible cowl or muffler, depending on your preference. The muffler features tailored slip-stitch selvedges, while the cowl is worked on larger needles for a softer drape.

I loved making this shawl, and I enjoyed the process of choosing colors and row counts. I did use Jul Designs fasteners rather than stitching the shoulder seam. I also made my project a little larger by about 10 inches. The big surprise was my 30 year old niece modeling it at Easter when we all got together and then styling it on my 85 year old mother. It also looks great on my taller sister, but I think it looks best on ME!
