multiple errors in the pattern
The yarn is as expected. The pattern is not. It has multiple errors and the stitch count simply does not add up. It needs to be test knitted and edited before it can be used. I am frogging it because it is just too messy. I left a comment on the pattern page on ravelry, but there is no response from the designer. I wanted a kit so I would just pick up my needles and start knitting and everything will be there for me. I did not expect to count and recount and correct pattern errors again and again.
The yarn comes already wound in a cake so there is no need to get out your yarn swift. The colors are pretty close to what shows on my screen but seem more muted. I am sure I will find another use for it. I bought it on sale, so I am not as mad at it as I should be.

love it - knitting version
The knitting pattern is easy to follow, except they mixed up right and wrong side of the fabric and only sent corrections halfway through the year. It looked wonky when I first started knitting, with all the extra and floppy increases, but reading more about the pattern it all made sense and it does look nice when it is finally off the needles. The yarn is to die for. I love all the colors and shades - I got the blue version. The patterns come on half sheet cards, but you can also download them from your account area, which is great, especially if you happen to lose original one. The pattern is mostly garter stitch, you only need to keep track of the rows to do the proper increases in pattern - some rows have extra increases so to make that part even more pointy. It is a great pattern for mindless knitting
They do not include a free shipping coupon with clubs anymore. I hope they will again for the next year.

love it
I enjoyed the club this year and hope they offer one next year, too. So far I loved all the yarns. I didn't like two of the patterns, so I used the yarn with other projects. All the other projects I made and had tons of fun with them. The price is good and fair. I loved not having to think about the new project, just dive in and do it. It was mostly hats and shawls or scarves, and some other projects. I just finished the September kit and looking forward to the next one. I liked the diversity of the projects and yarns. They included a fun little extra in the package, like a stitch marker or some single Eucalan wash which was nice. The only disappointing thing was that they do not include a free shipping coupon with the clubs anymore, but maybe it is for the best to reign in my yarn obsession, it is too easy to want to buy another skein or two when you have a free shipping coupon.

gorgeous colors
I ordered it in Red rose color, and it turned out to be very beautiful. I made a cowl with it. it was fast and easy project. It is a bit scratchy against the neck, so I am adding a lining to the cowl, but I have sensitive skin. It looks very pretty

buttery smooth
The needles are smooth and wonderful to work with. The cables have just enough body to support knitting but are soft enough so you wouldn't have to fight them. The joins are smooth and do not catch on yarn. I absolutely love the set.
And of course it is packaged in lovely box that only adds to the joy.

colorful
I am crocheting a shawl with it, and it comes out nicely. The yarn is quite soft and pleasant to work with. No knots or breaks and the yarn thickness seems to be even. The colors are bright. Each color change lasts for a several inch chunk of a row, and the colors kind of flow from one to another. I like how it gives me colored patches, not flecks or mud. If I was knitting socks, it would probably give a few rows per color for striping effect.

Soft and pleasure to use
The yarn is soft and it made for very nice and fast project. I made a simple cowl with it, and I like how it came out. It is soft and fluffy. I do not think it is scratchy, but I have not tried to wear it for prolonged time because it is just too hot for that. The color is quite close to what I saw on the screen.

stiff cable, excellent tips
The metal part of the needles is just excellent. They are lightweight, marked with inches that is just brilliant and not too slippery, not as slippery as many metal needles are. They are sharp so they are easy if you have many decreases in the pattern. The joins are smooth and they do not snag.
But the cable is stiff, as stiff as that on my old Clover circular needles, which I do not even know where I put them now, if you know what I mean. I was fighting and fighting with the cable, and now I am so glad the pattern is calling for different size needles and I can switch. I wouldn't use the needles for magic loop again. They might be OK for a larger project that weighs down on the cable to tame it somewhat, but when it is just open in the air, the cable is way too stiff. I want limp cables with zero memory, please!

falls apart
The bracelet looks very nice and it is a great idea to have the stitch markers on your wrist at all times. But the quality was lacking. After just a few days, one of the leather straps started unraveling and it looks like there is a tear developing. Then the other strap started falling off its jumpring because there is a gap in it. I kept sticking it back in, and in an hour or two it would fall off again.
The stitch markers are rather hard to get to, especially since you can only use one hand. Overall, I am disappointed by it, even though I like the idea and the looks.
I liked that the smaller markers have the ends of the wires tucked in inside the bead.

loving it so far
I received a bunch of tiny skeins of cotton/acrylic yarn for the first shipment. The colors are beautiful. The project works so far very well with the wild variety of colors. It came with a project bag, but it is too small to hold even this months part. I use it for the current three balls of yarn since the project calls for using three colors at a time. I also received a sample of wool wash, and a tiny notebook with dotted paper. And a needle to hide the multiple ends. The pattern is printed on a small sturdy card, in rather small print. The pattern is very easy, the main challenge is keep the yarn from tangling.
Yarn is soft and pleasant to work with. Pure cotton makes my hands ache, but not this mix. And the colors are so pretty, it is a real pleasure to use.
I love everything so far. We will see what comes next!
