Perfect for darning socks!
I have made my husband a lot of socks over the years. So many that he only wears hand knit socks. Some of the earliest pairs have started to show wear. This was a very quick and easy way to fix them. I have used the darning egg in the past, but this was just so much faster and neater.

Lovely yarns, low value box
I want to explain why this is a low star review: I have not received any yarn that was subpar or not of high quality, but at the price point, I really did expect more from the subscription box. I received my fifth set I ordered the subscription in both colorways came today, and now I am just waiting for this club to be over. It almost feels like the entire six months wasn't planned in advance, and the last two months was just whatever nice sock yarn they had in the warehouse. Again, none of the yarn was subpar, but the subscription itself was not a good value in my opinion.

Soft, warm, durable
I am loving working with this yarn. The tonal color is consistent across all four skeins I am using. The twist is just right, not too tight/not too loose. Lovely drape. I went back and purchased more in different colors!

Perfect accent for any shawl.
I love wearing shawls. I like the drape, the feel, BUT sometimes they get a bit fussy if one is at a restaurant or needing to do something with both hands. Enter the shawl pin! Drape, pin and the shawl is held in place without having to fuss with it. The wood on these is smooth and has not caught on any of the yarns I have pinned with it. I have actually started giving these with shawls I make for people. Great buy!

Crochet worked better
I love, love, love the color of this yarn but, for me, it was difficult to knit. I ended up slightly frustrated with it, until I decided to crochet it. I worked up into a beautiful shawl. Not what I originally planned, but still lovely.

They sound like wind chimes...
I purchased a set of the Karbonz interchangeable needles, and loved them, so I have been slowly replacing all of my needle sets with Karbonz. The DPNs make a lovely sound when knitting in the round. It is almost like wind chimes. The tips on Karbonz are amazing. I like the metal tips, but I don't like knitting on metal needles because, for me, they tend to slip. The carbon fiber has enough texture that the stitches don't fall off, but are still smooth enough that it doesn't slow me down.
