It was great to work with and oh so soft. Made a scarf for my son and he loves it. Really showed off the cable work that I did. Look for something to use this yarn again. |

I love alpaca, but I had never experienced this yarn until a few years ago when my sister purchased me some for my birthday. ...let me just say it's my absolute favorite EVER! It's so soft and wonderful to wear! You will absolutely not be unhappy with your purchase of this yarn. |

I bought two of every color of this yarn... Jimmy Bean very kindly made sure each of the colors matched... the yarn is well spun, just one break in 14 skeins so far... it is very soft and easy to work with... I crochet smoke rings cowles with this, and we will see how it does at the bazaars this year... |

I love the softness of this yarn. The other review was correct in stating that this is closer to a dk weight yarn. Had to decrease the needle size i used for the project i was working on. I will definitly use this yarn again. |

I just bought some of this at a knitting store and it is the softest yarn I have ever knit! I litterally sped home so that I could get it on the needles. It is not plied (or is that considered single ply) the way Malabrigo Worsted is. It is so soft and silky. There were no knots in it when I wound it and after making a hat, I had nearly alf a skien left. I am truly in love. I though it was funny that is smells a bit, well, like Alpaca, as it is natural and has no dye. The smell disappeared after a bath. Even though it is not dyed, the colors are still quite beautiful. I am in LOVE! |

Gorgeous, rich color and super-super soft. As nice an alpaca as I've ever worked with. However, I think it's closer to a DK or sport weight than the 4-5 st/inch gauge given. |

I am a crocheter, and I have been using this yarn for several years. It is unsurpassed in silky softness and is fantastic for hats and mitts. The price is very reasonable and the yarn is amazing. It is incredibly warm and wonderful to the skin while crocheting up nice and soft - never stiff. I plan to make more hats and scarves and (hopefully soon!) a jacket with Eco Alpaca. I also recommend Eco Wool by Cascade. |
