| I enjoyed working with this yarn except for one thing: the irregular sizing of the yarn itself.
I don't mind when it got super fat for a while as much as I minded when it got thin as thread in some places.
I have to say though, the FEEL of it is wonderfully soft and delightful! |

| I had worked a pattern for a Baby Hoodie that called for this yarn, but used another in my hurry to get started on the project.
After making two with lovely Cascade 220, I ordered several skeins of the Berroco Comfort Chunky- and as soon as it arrived I realized exactly why this baby pattern calls for it!
It is so soft and silky and yes, CHUNKY! It is a joy to work with, knits up super-fast and depending on the size of the baby project- one skein is enough for 0-3mos. size.
Example of the softness of this totally synthetic yarn: I had a friend over one day who noticed I had more yarn in my basket, eyeing the Berroco. I tossed one of the skeins to her and she sat there for the rest of the visit gently squeezing and playing with it!
I will continue to purchase this yarn and reccomend it highly! |
