This will be my third garment with this yarn. It's so easy to work, has such gorgeous colors, and is such a good weight, I really do love it. I had to change this particular garment recipient to female from male because the color has a bit more gold in it than I saw, but now I'm one step up for Christmas!
These directions looked a little complex at first glance, but as I started to use them, it became very obvious how well written they are. The author takes you step-by-step through this pattern. Just use a line marker or sticky note and you will always know where you are. I'm not kidding--never lost!! I've been knitting for a number of years and I can still get lost in directions, but not here. Very well done. Turned out beautifully, and very quick to do.
This is my second garment with this yarn, and it's a winner. The color changes keep your interest, it's very soft and pleasing to the hand, and always well received as a gift. One word of caution, I have noticed that the brilliant colors do transfer to my wooden needles, so I just use the Addis.
This was easy, with well-written directions. Quick to finish, I did mine in about 4 hours but I didn' make the sash, and very comforting--according to my friend. Can't ask for much more than that! I'm on to the second one now.
