OMG, do I ever love this yarn! It's SO soft knitted up the drape is gorgeous, absolutely out-of-this-world! And the colors are incomparable -- SO crystal-clear, sunny and soft. This yarn is a bona fide miracle! LOVE IT!!!!!

Silk absorbs color like no other fiber on earth -- the Debbie Bliss Pure Silk colors absolutely GLOW. They look like the yarn has been illuminated from within. Knitted up, the yarn FEELS much different than I thought it would -- it's not crunchy like a lot of silks. It's a very low-twiat yarn, so it feels super-SOFT & the DRAPE is exquisite. Shows off cabling & other fancy stitchwork to maximum advantage. If you like to knit, YOU WILL LOVE THIS YARN!!!!!

I've bought this yarn in oodles of colors & the first garments I knitted using Tupa were so encouraging that I intend to use it over & over again in the future. The silk adds a subtle luster that makes the colors look even richer -- and makes the stitch definition really POP! Since this yarn is 1/2 merino, I'd say use it for autumn/winter/early spring garments -- but it's not TOO warm for indoor garments to be worn during those cooler months, since Tupa is also 50% silk the GREAT insulating fiber -- cools you down in warmer temps, warms you in cooler temps. Sure, this is a luxury yarn -- but it has also become my new basic yarn for everything, everything, everything!

Truly lovely yarn -- if you're looking for a ribbon yarn, you will love this. Outstanding drape i.e., VERY slenderizing fit & the contrast between the matte/lustrous areas makes the colors look even richer.

Buy some of this, you will love it! Definitely the loveliest silk yarn I've ever seen/worked with. Subtle-but-brilliant luster & the colors are magnificent -- always vibrant, never harsh. Gorgeous! I love it!
