I bought the Sierra, which I'm using to make the Handpainted Highlights Socks from One-Skein Wonders. The yarn produces a soft and lofty fabric, with intense colour. I have bought another skein in mountain twilight, and am looking forward to using it for a scarf very soon.

The cabernet yarn creates a fabric that resembles deep maroon velvet. Well worth its price.

Pattern is easy to read and follow for someone quite new to knitting cables. Fit is flattering. Love how it's kniited in one piece!

I'm making a sweater out of this yarn, and I find myself stopping ever so often to admire the heavenly softness of the fabric. Lovely!

Offers good yardage, but tends to split.

I've bought this yarn in periwinkle blue, green (somewhat Irish, St. Patrick's like), oatmeal and pale yellow; and I absolutely love the yarn for the cheery colours, its lovely sheen and the unusual texture. The nubby-ness is very forgiving of uneven stitches, and the yarn knits up so quickly. I've made 3 little girl shrugs so far, and am planning another 2 more.
