Although I like the yarn, what upsets me is the knots. This is my 3rd time using this yarn, in 3 different colors. Each time I had pesky knots, from one and up to 3 knots in every skein used! WHY is this? It is pricey yarn. Never had this with the other Lorna's Laces Yarns.
My last order was 4 skeins of Child Play. I am using my second skein of this order, and, had 1 knot in EACH skein thus far. I am so disappointed, because I like the feel of the yarn, stitch definition and wear of the garments made with it. Did send a message directly to Lorna's Laces, but thus far NEVER had a reply from them. Not good customer service. Perhaps some one from JBW's Customer Service could take this up with Lorna's Laces? I am SURE that I am not the only one with this experience.

Joining between needle tip and cord could be smoother. it is to me annoying having to stop and push the stitches over the joint rather than have them glide over the joint. The needle tips are nice and sharp, but would be much nicer f they would be longer!
For the cost of this needle I did expect better!
This is the first time using this yarn. It feels good working with, but, I am only at the second hank. In the first hank I had to cut out and splice 3X! The first time, only about a foot lenght that was gnarled and split. The second and 3rd time it was 2 and approx 3 feet of yarn I had to cut out. This is a FIRST in all the time since 2007! that I encountered a problem with the Lorna's Laces yarn.

Liked them in as far as the tips and cable. Have problem with a less than smooth transition from shaft to cable. This is a size 3mm, 40 cable. Have used other Addi Turbo Lace needles for sox and did not run into this problem before.
Is it the size? No response from Schackel yet! For this size it is back to the Chiao Choo sock needles.
