Malabrigo - Rasta
Great super bulky merino! 5 out of 5
Seriously soft yarn, gentle on the skin. Hard to believe it is wool. Colorway is kind of stripey but in seed stitch or garter stitch it should come out tweedy. I really love Malabrigo but the inconsistency in each skein, even in the same dyelot, can be annoying and problematic in multiple skein projects. For one-skein, it is the yarn of choice.

Knitter's Pride - Trendz Fixed Circular Needles
A good alternative to Addi 5 out of 5
These have nice, long, sharp tips and a somewhat flexible cord. I bought 47 and I do need to un-kink a bit in warm water before using. Great sizes to pick from. Love the colors and the price.

Knitter's Pride - Basix Single Pointed Needles
Nice for big wooden needles 5 out of 5
These have really sharp tips for size #19, a tad short tapered, but smooth and snagless. Price is great too.

Susan Bates - Luxite Jiffy Knitting Needles
Great needles for price 5 out of 5
You can't go wrong with Susan Bates. Bought size 35 needles. Tip is pointy and long tapered, lightweight to hold. Wish there were more sizes. For straights, it is worth having a set in each size.

Addi - Addi Lace Needles
Love these needles 5 out of 5
This needles are not as slippery as the regular Addi Turbo and don't drag like bamboo needles. Cords are flexible, ends are tightly fitted. As close to perfection as you can get. I'm slowly replacing all my needles with these.

Cascade - Baby Alpaca Chunky
Luscious! 5 out of 5
This yarn is really incredibly soft and silky, not spikey like some alpacas. And it gets better after washing, developing a soft weightiness that also has a beautiful drape. Really, really love this yarn.

Cascade - Cascade 220
Favorite stand-by 5 out of 5
This is not a skin soft wool for sensitive skin like merino but it's not harsh either like lopi wool. Somewhere in between. It is a great yarn for sweaters or jackets that are the outer layer. It has great stitch definition, great yardage, and almost any color you can think of. A really good wool if a workhorse is needed.

Very soft, luxurious and affordable lace yarn. Lots of colors to choose from as well. My favorite wrap and shawl yarn!
