the perfect gift
Our knitter's group bought this gift certificate for our teacher, who is moving across the state.
She loves quality yarns, and it will be a significant pleasure to choose and knit with yarns from Jimmy, in her new home. Maybe it will make the move more endurable.

BESTEST
This hand balm is the bestest, if you get dry hands in the winter or dishpan hands or garden hands. It really doesn't leave any residue on your yarns, it goes on as smooth as butter, it smells pleasant, and your previous rough skin does not snag on your knitting wool.

BUT, we are using prodigious amounts for another reason. Our 3 year old has excema and he gets bad patches on knees and elbows which are very itchy. Not only does this go on smooth like butter ʍoesn't pull or wrinkle the skin as you smooth it on, thereby not waking up his itching or crack his skin) it takes the itch away. It's his favorite, he doesn't mind how it smells and neither does anyone else notice or become uncomfortable. It doesn't spot up his clothes, it lasts a good long time (we can use it up to 3 times a day when he has bad patches) and it doesn't sting or hurt when he has scratched scabs during the night.

I wish we had known about it from the beginning, when he was a baby. Nothing makes excema go away forever, but this helps.

Oh, and thanks JBW, for the two little wrapped surprises in my order. :)
