I bought this yarn in Forest from a LYS to make a Turn a Square beanie for my stepfather for Chrismas. I paired it with a solid dark brown. I love the hat! I'm keeping it for myself and will knit a second for him.

I'm using the Lamb's Pride Bulky to make slipper soles and am using a different decorative yarn for the upper. The lamb's pride has made a fine sole used with roving thrums for the footbed. I don't think I'd want the lamb's pride against my skin without the thrums because the mohair would tickle.

I made thrums from the roving for slipper footbeds. The roving is soft and fluffy. It does have bits of grass that I've had to remove. I have not used any other brand, so I have nothing to compare against. I would definitely buy it again.
