| I am trying to go to the lace tips for all of my knitting. I use 40 inch needles for most socks and 47 when I am knitting for a man.

| They work best for medium to bulky weight yarns. If using lace weight or sock weight yarns go to the lace needles |

| It makes interesting variations. For a companion yarn in a different color, it works well with Cascade Heritage. Both have 25% nylon for long wear. I recommend #1 needles for socks. |

| It seems that it needs to be knit on #1 needles for socks. It is springy. The 25% nylon means to me that it should have great wearing powers. |
