This is not my first experience with Silky Wool but I just have to say it is great stuff. Soft and with the heathered quality, enjoyable to work at. Some may not like the little bits of natural material that come in it varies from skein to skein but is easily removed- or left in. Either way, a pleasure to work with.

I never tire of using this yarn. Beautiful colors and feel. It is so much nicer than kitchen cotton, perfect for a polished look in a FO. I've made baskets with it nice body and also spa cloths. Elegant, sturdy and pretty.

This is one of my favorite yarns. The feel is wonderful and the subtle sheen is just enough to add a special finishing touch to a project it can look very fancy or casual with any pattern. As with any Rowan yarns the color is rich and true. And I've never had a problem with splitting. For a crocheter I'd recommend an E hook, or F if you crochet to a tight gauge.

Oh I love this hook! Perfectly balanced with a nice long handle great for larger hands. A good weight- not too heavy or light. And so beautiful- the turning is gorgeous. I'll definitely buy several more soon.

Very pretty and sturdy fabric. It only has a simple drawstring but this is preferable to a zipper that might snag my yarn. It would be better if the interior pocket were larger. A nice basic bag. Big enough for a scarf project.
