Was hoping for a 5-star yarn
With the fiber content of this yarn, I thought it would feel special. It has the color saturation and beautiful stitch definition I expect from Malabrigo. I was disappointed because it just feels like an unremarkable wool. Maybe that will change after blocking, but I was so disappointed that I just stopped knitting after swatching.

Fine Markers
These are great as stitch markers for lace. They are skinny so they don't take up much room. Some of my stitch markers can be too thick for finer yarns. The fact that they open is a bonus that just adds flexibility to the product.

Great Find
I wanted an easy care, less expensive material for a knitted vest. This yarn worked up well in a cable pattern. The yarn had great stitch definition and very little splitting. It went through the washer and dryer once with no ill effects. I would suggest washing the gauge swatch before measuring as the gauge was slightly different after washing

Not a Repeat Purchase
I bought this yarn because it was such a deal. Then I tried knitting and crocheting with it. Alone it was very difficult, tangling and knotting on itself. It has worked better when paired with a fingering normal yarn. I still can't use it to crochet, but I'm doing a garter stitch project. Paired with another yarn, I can use it, but I'm not enjoying all the tangling. The fabric is flashy and fun though, but scratchy.

Self-striping with Pizazz
Soft yarn with the exception of the sequins. Subtle color shift from light to dark gives stripes with a gentle transition of shading. Sequins end up looking randomly placed in the finished knit. Good stitch definition even with the halo of the yarn. Surprisingly easy to knit.
