Not Me
I fell in love with the looks of the front of this but then after reading the pattern I realized it wasn't me the back is too short and involved too much work to revise. It would be great for a much younger person.

love this yarn
I just received my order of 16 skeins of this yarn (Steamers color) it is so soft doesn't feel like what I think of tweed type yarns.
I bought this for Harwood Coat in Fresh Fashion Knits and it is working up beautifully and is so soft I can see it in a next to the skin garment!
I hope all the skeins that have recently been on Woolwatchers (where I got mine) is just to get rid of current stock and doesn't mean JB is no longer going to be carrying this great yarn!

Good Variety
I went to the Malabrigo website and looked at the various projects. I only gave it 3 stars because of my taste in knitting. However there is probably something for everyone in this book.
There was one particularly beautiful shawl that almost makes me want to knit shawls and buy the book. (If you love shawls and cowls this is probably a worth while buy.)
Several pullover sweaters, hats & a darling baby hooded sweater. (makes me wish I had a small one to knit for!ʝisappointed only one cardigan because I seem to be into knitting those more than anything else.
I love Malabrigo yarn. I went back and looked again and see a pullover I might like and I could make the shawl for a friend, and the cowl for another friend. can you tell I am talking myself into buying this book!!!

Nice Yarn especially for the price
Update to my original review I only have one skein so couldn't do a lot but did swatch and worked some cables.Great definition. I was definitely impressed.
Since I only had the one skein I made a scarf for a friends son and both of them loved it. It knits up nicely and is buttery soft next to the skin. I would definitely use this again! I am still hoping they come out with the worsted weight which is better for the sweaters I would knit with it. This yarn proves that you don't necessarily have to spend big money to get quality.

Feels luscious
I ordered a skein of this to see what it was like. I bought a skein of #1804 based on the way it appeared in the Patterns for it on Cascade website, and NOT what it looks like on either JB or Cascade's website showing the yarn.
It is a nice neutral light brown like it appears in the patterns and I love it!
It feels luscious. I haven't knitted with it yet but as soon as I do I will post more. Some one on Ravelry said it was like Lima but I disagree, I don't like lima, it doesn't show the stitches and it is fuzzy this is not.
If it works gauge wise etc I am thinking of it for the Starsky cardigan.
Will report back later.

Bought this for one pattern
Ordered this older magazine for the Window Pane coat, but found there are several other patterns I might consider.
I now have a subscription for magazine but didn't have this issue. I find that even if there is only one pattern I like all the other info is very helpful.

Love my addi lace!
Everytime I buy a set I get an email to review them. They are still my favorite knitting needles. I have a pair of Lana Grossa that I like to use when the Addi are too slippery but still usually reach for these. I like the narrower points and find they work well with whatever I am knitting!

Knits up beautifully
I am sorry that Debbie Bliss has discontinued this yarn. It knits up beautifully and after blocking it just gets softer to the touch! It makes a wonderful soft and warm sweater. Again too bad it is being discontinued. IMHO too many yarn companies discontinue really nice yarns!

My all time favorite
I have already written one review but now that my coat is almost finished I decided to once again say this is my all time favorite merino worsted yarn! The cables pop, it is such a soft yarn to knit (I have a thing I have to enjoy the feel of the yarn as I knit) it is easy to wind into a ball,& it frogs beautifully! It is a yarn that I can't find a negative thing about. Everytime I go into my LYS people oh&ah over the feel and look of the piece. I am using the color Mineral Red which doesn't look anything like it appears on the monitor it is not red nor pink, leans more to salmon in my estimation. (the girls could probably describe it better)
I hope to try the Malabrigo twist soon and I am lusting over the color #436 (if it looks like my monitor) in the Silky Tweed!
No I don't work for Malabrigo just haven't found a yarn of theirs that I don't like.
