A few years ago, I was fortunate to receive a prototype of an Addi Turbo needle with a sharper lace tip. I prize it to this day. But sadly, the company did not move forward developing this wonderfully slick product - UNTIL NOW. These are the needles I have been waiting for - sharp tipped circs without the grippy finish. Thank you, JBW for carrying them!
This is my second Yarn Pop - I already had the Small size, but needed one to accommodate larger skeins. If you change rooms or locations with your projects often, a Yarn Pop keeps your yarncake neat and tidy. It also keeps your yarn segregated from pens, etc. inside your project bag. The big plastic zipper stays put and the print is fresh and bright. Is it indispensable? No. But I have used mine in trains, planes and automobiles and they do exactly what I want them to. A nice treat for a knitting friend who has almost everything.
No striping or pooling from this rounded, unfussy workhorse worsted from madtosh. It cables like a dream without splitting and washes well without excessive dye run-off. Perfect for those small accessories you know will go into the washing machine.
