| I hestitate to give such a low rating to this yarn because the feel is truly a personal preference--but wow, is this stuff scratchy! I can typically wear merino wool next to my skin, and have never had problems with Big Wool. But even with a shirt worn underneath, I couldn't wear my Biggy Print sweater for longer than a minute. It also shed more than I'd expected. Lesson learned: never purchase yarn online that I haven't felt in person first! |

| I adore this yarn for making warm, cozy sweaters. Knits up fast for instant gratification, wears well for merino, and feels soft next to the skin. I only wish it was less expensive so I could afford to knit more sweaters with this stuff. |

| Knits up beautifully with crisp, even stitches. However, if you have sensitive skin, you might find this yarn itchy. I can usually wear merino next to my skin, but with this yarn, I can't. I think I might be allergic to cashmere. Heavens! |
