I love Madelinetosh yarns. The colors are wonderful and it knits up like a dream. The hand-dyed nature of the yarn means that you may have variation from skein to skein, but usually this isn't a big problem.

This is a nice, basic, no-nonsense yarn, with pure, vibrant colors. Knits up nice.

I love this yarn - the colors are great, and the yarn has always knitted up well for me, in both socks and hats. I know others have had issues, but I have never had a bad skein, and have used dozens.

This is by far my favorite worsted weight yarn, with a great twist, soft, washable AND stunning colors. I have knit mittens with it, and found it performs well.

The colors for the Mochi Plus yarns just keep getting better. This is a heavy worsted, and knits up beautifully, though the more roving texture means it pills more easily.

This is just the latest in my long line of Jitterbug yarns. I have knit many pair of socks, as well as hats and baby things with this yarn. I find it knits up nicely, is a good weight and washes well. My experience with this yarn has always been positive.

I knit the fingerless gloves free pattern from Crystal Palace with this year. It is a very soft yarn, and I'm not sure I would like it for socks, but for these gloves, it is great. The pattern was easy to use and the yarn colors were stunning. Note that one ball makes exactly one pair of gloves, and that they are fraternal rather than identical twins.
