Best ever!
Love, love, love these needles. The tips are pointy enough to grab stitches for increases and cables, etc., easily without being so harp that they hurt your fingertip when you pop the needle back as you knit. Yarn slides easily. And the cables are a dream. So nice to be traveling or at home! and be able to use them right out of the packaging without having to straighten the kinks.

Jury still out
Just starting my project with this yarn. It's nice and soft and the stitch definition looks good. A bit splitty. Not enough experience to know about knots in the skeins or if it will pill easily with use and washing. Also not sure about shrinkage, even using recommended washing instructions. I'll have to update when I know more.

holds up well with use
I've made many baby afghans with this and it doesn't pill and holds up well. However, it's not as soft as other yarns and the twist tends to be loose and a little splitty, so the edges sometimes have loops that are looser and more open than others.

Nice to work with
Just finished a hat for my adult son a stockinette bowler with a stripe. Nice to work with and can see where it would have good stitch definition in cables, etc. Lovely tonal variation as you knit. One star off for multiple but short areas of thick, almost felted blobs but no actual knots. Now....to see how it holds up and if it pills.

Best needles ever!
I love these needles so much that I'm slowly replacing my entire stash. The tips are just right - not so sharp that they hurt your fingers when you pop the needle back but can easily get into the yarn leg. And the matte steel finish makes them workable for sliding stitches but not so slippery that you are dropping stitches. It's so nice, especially when traveling or doing magic needle instead of double-pointed work, to have a cable that is so flexible and cooperative. No heating required - they are ready to go straight out of the package. Stitches slide up from cable to tip easily, too. All around great needles.

Nice yarn
So far, I have only completed the back of one sweater with this yarn, but it's nice to work with. Very soft and cozy. No knots in any of the 7 skeins I wound up. Color is beautiful. If it washes well and doesn't pill, it'll be a home run.

Lovely, but know what you're buying!
This knits up into the softest, coziest fabric. Just wonderful. I made the Garter Rib Ruffled Scarf from the Stitch Mountain book. Since I preferred to mostly knit, rather than mostly purl, I re-wrote the pattern to be inside out. It turned out wonderfully.....but.....it came as a big surprise to find that my scarf was not going to be tonal effects of a single color, but morphed into a 2nd color and back again within a single ball of yarn. The Santiago color goes from heathered purple to a med-deep marine blue. The color change is not always apparent on the picture that shows the ball of yarn. I also had to buy twice as many skeins so that my color change at skein changes would flow nicely and unwind until I got to the equivalent dye point. So.....it's wonderful to work with, but know in advance that there are some specifics you should clarify with the JBW staff first. And, if you have to do what I did, have a 2nd project in mind for the waste yarn.
