I love this yarn. I wish I could have it in every color. Unfortunately it's expensive because I need several skeins so I have to limit my purchases. Shepherd Sport is wonderful to work with and knits up beautifully. I've made a few shawls with this yarn and highly recommend it for that special project for a close friend or family member.

This is a favorite sport-weight yarn that doesn't break the bank. I use it for a favorite shawl pattern that requires over 900 yards. I just wish it came in more colors.

Haven't made this wrap yet but it's on my list. I recommend that anyone that likes the look of this wrap, should visit the Brooklyn Tweed site to see all of their wonderful patterns. A few years ago our guild hosted Jared for a weekend of the workshops he teaches and he was very informative and even our advanced knitters learned new techniques. Knowing JB, they probably have all the Brooklyn Tweed patterns.

This is one of my favorite yarns that I use to make warm, winter shawls for friends. The colors are gorgeous, the yarn soft and the recipients very happy to receive the finished shawl. It's also a very economical yarn.

With this yarn I'm making a long scarf in one of my favorite cables and lace stitch patterns. The yarn is wonderful. I love all the variegated colors of Koigu but wanted a solid. This is a beautiful solid with the intensity of their other yarns. Soft and silky looking, it will probably be appropriated by a friend the first time I wear it. But I'm already thinking of using this yarn for a lace shawl pattern.

If I had the time and money I'd make at least half the sweaters in this issue. There is also an article on Shetland Lace.

Classics patterns, many looked like they were out of the 1950's. Section on Intarsia knitting. I bought it for the gorgeous Jewel Square Wrap.

I love the Cascade yarns. I was taking an online Shetland shawl class that used sport-weight yarn. I love the Lake Chelan color and the shawl is working up beautifully. I ordered the yarn on a Thursday morning and it was waiting for me Saturday at my PO box. The only way Jimmy's can be any faster is if they ship as soon as I think about ordering yarn. They are awesome.

This is a beautiful magazine and well worth the price. It has patterns for every level knitting and patterns for my wish I could knit list.

This is definitely a wear-next-to-your-skin yarn. It is extremely soft to the touch, not itchy it's like the softness of a Persian kitten. The only problem is that it comes in so many magnificent colors it's difficult to decide which to buy first. You'll always want to come back for seconds--not a problem, it's low calorie, high fiber.
