Madelinetosh - Prairie Short Skeins
Heavenly lace 5 out of 5
I have used this yarn to make a large stole and most recently, a very light weight sweater. This yarn is not only incredibly soft and a true pleasure to knit with, it is also sturdy, holds up well over multiple washes and retains shape. Not to mention the truly amazing colors.

Madelinetosh - Tosh Merino Light
My personal island yarn 5 out of 5
If there is one yarn that I am allowed to take with me for an extended stay in a remote location, this would be it. Why? Some points: - amazing colors - the yarn is a dream to knit with, it is warm, very light and soft garments knit with it retain their shape over time - fantastic stitch definition - does not grow extensively, does not pill at all !, despite the fact that it is single ply I prefer to kint it at a tight gauge US3 needles, but otheres report satisfaction with needles up to US6

Pony - Pony Pearl Double Pointed Needles
Cheap, cheap 2 out of 5
These needles are a disappointment. Very cheap plastic, they almost feel as they will come apart, there is a reason that the manufacturer assures that they are 'reinforced for extra strength'. They are pointy and if you are lucky, they will split the yarn, and leave traces of it in the project. If you are a fast continental knitter, you will also find that they have a tendency to be sticky..

Madelinetosh - Tosh Merino Light
Mad for Tosh 5 out of 5
This is my absolute favorite yarn. Perfect for cardigans, pullovers. The colors are amazing, even the solids have some 'patina' - for lack of a better word to it that makes them stand out among solid yarns. Wonderful to work with and blocks extremely well.
