Overall Bamboo Bloom Handpaints Rating: (4.5 based on 2 reviews) |
Rating: (4 out of 5) |
| From the description I was expecting this to be a dual-strand yarn, not a thick-and-thin yarn. That being said, however, it IS a lot of fun to work with, and I really like the color options.
It's working up interestingly, though it's not as perfect for the moebius cowl I'm making as I'd hoped. I think I might try another skein, though, purely because of its unique texture and lovely colors. |

| I used this yarn to make a cowl, and absolutely loved using it. My cowl is gorgeous! The yarn was easy to use, and the wool sections are firmly attached to the bamboo. I loved watching the colors change as the yarn went through my fingers.
The bamboo has a lovely sheen to it, and combined with the wool, the resulting yarn is pretty spectacular.
I know I've used a lot of hyperbole here, but this yarn deserves it. The color combinations are beautiful, and I am going to order another skein so that I can knit myself another cowl, or maybe even a hat, in a different colorway. |
