I bought a skein of this awhile back hoping to use it for the Greta A-line in Swing & Swagger. I made a swatch and thought it felt awful, more like cheap acrylic so put it aside and forgot about it. Was talking to Jeanne about another yarn and she asked if I washed it and blocked it, I had never been told to do this with swatches so I started. The other day I came across the Trendsetter Merino 8 and decided to swatch it again and wash it. WOW what a difference. It lost the acrylic feel & now feels like a soft Merino wool. I can think of several sweaters I would like to use this for!
