| I ordered this on a whim, thinking it would be a fun yarn to have in my stash. I had an almost full skein of Cascade Ultra Pima languishing in my stash. It matches the little peacock blue sequins exactly! Anyway... I was able to create a gorgeous, fun scarf in a few hours using the Cotton Gold as a carry-along and boy does it pack a punch! It's beautiful and shiny without being obnoxious, and the quality is awesome! I didn't once have it break or have a sequin thread catch on a needle. The main cotton thread seems to be really strong, and the lurex or whatever it is doesn't separate like so many yarns containing a metallic strand do. I can recommend this yarn without qualms for adding a bit of sparkle to any project. |
