Overall Hand-dye Effect Rating: (3.6 based on 5 reviews) |
Rating: (3 out of 5) |
| Three stars despite the great color changes because it isn't very soft. Looking forward to using, though, and watching the colors unfold. |

| I used the sock pattern on the Jimmy Beans mailer to make a pair of socks with the Regia Hand-dye Effect yarn, and they turned out really snazzy. The yarn does have a tendency to puff up when it's worked over more than once, but the pattern made that acceptable. |

| I purchased for a sock pattern written specific for this yarn. The yarn is a single (almost like roving) with a black thread wound around it. Yarn splits and the thread separates from the yarn and is near impossible to pick-up. I would not use for socks, will probably thin out and there is no stretch. The sock pattern knitted to gauge but the sock had cables and would not stretch to go around the foot. Maybe a scarf! |

| I used this yarn to make the In THe Pink shawl that is so popular now. the long color runs are perfect. I liked it so much I bought several colorways. |
