Madelinetosh Pashmina Yarn - Edison Bulb
Edison Bulb shown $33.00
**Important Information regarding Tailor-made Tosh color Technicolor Dreamcoat!** As you can see from the picture for this colorway, there is a lot of variation between skeins and it is difficult to perfectly match multiple skeins. If you need more than one skein for a project, we will do our best visually match skeins that compliment each other and will contact you before shipping your order if there is considerable variation between skeins. Please feel free to put notes in your order with your tonal preferences. If you would like personalized guidance in picking the perfect skeins for your project(s), do not hesitate to contact us via phone, live chat, or email. Also, be sure to check out our Hand Dyed Yarn Guide which features videos, tips, and tricks for working with hand dyed yarns!

Note: Dyed by hand in small batches, Madelinetosh yarns do not come in dye lots. We do our best to visually match hanks for each order and will contact you via email if one or more hanks differ noticeably from the others. The beauty of hand-dyed yarns is that each hank is a unique work of art, so please be aware that there can be a variation in coloring, hue and saturation, even within the same dye batch.

If you have any questions, give us a call or check out our videos on working with hand-dyed yarns!

Madelinetosh Pashmina is a 3-ply yarn made up of 75% superwash merino wool, 15% silk and 10% cashmere, a similar fiber blend to the famous woven pashmina scarves. This machine washable blend is hand-dyed in small dye lots and knits up to create a soft fabric with great drape.

Gorgeous stuff 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
The yarn is a bit more varigated in dark/light than in the picture. My batch had a cream and slate blue mixed in with the brown, but since they were even in both skeins, it wasn't an issue. Very sproingy - and yes, Sproingy is a word.

I'd give it 10 stars if I could... 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
A pricey yarn, but worth it's weight and yardage. Knits beautifully and once lightly blocked, wow. What I really mean is, WOW. That little bit of silk/cashmere makes all the difference between a great yarn and a I just want to use this yarn for all my projects forever. The color choices are fantastic as well. Very hip, sophisticated, and beautiful. Also, I personally did not have any knots or problems winding this yarn up, but an easy fix to the knot issue is just to cut it and splice the two ends together. Works like a charm.

This feels wonderful as all MT yarns do. But it is still not a project. Color is accurate on JBW photo.

Gorgeous yarn! 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
I loved working with this yarn. It seemed to bloom some as I was working with it, so it's extremely soft to the touch after it's knit up. I knit a baby sweater and hat I know, I know. I used this $$$$ yarn for a baby garment?? but it's for a special occasion, and I wanted it to be beautiful. The color of the hand dye is exceptional. Some variation, but not stripey. I ordered 2 skeins and they matched really well in color. My next project with this yarn will be a sweater for me, because it really is a yarn for grownups.
