Overall Grace Hand Beaded Rating: (5.0 based on 2 reviews) |
Rating: (5 out of 5) |
| I bought a skein of this yarn on a whim and knit it up into a pretty little neckwarmer. The yarn has a nice sheen, and the beads add just the right touch of sparkle. |

| I am leaving a review because I could not find one before I purchased this yarn.
It is very silky & has a slight curl to the yarn, that smoothes out as you knit. The one thing that you have to be careful with is the beading...it is added to the yarn & is strung on a thread like cord. You have to be aware to pickup the yarn & thread at the same time. I am using a size 10 needle to knit the free Casimo Scarf pattern & can see when I miss picking up both yarn/thread together. Also note that the pattern calls for 2 - 50g hanks...but if you look closely at the picture model, it is really two red scarfs on the model. I am having to order another skein to make it long enough to fold over its self at the neckline.
Don't get me wrong - I love this yarn...it looks so silky with rain drops (beads) sprinkled across it. But it is pricey. Not sure I would have been the first to try it (without prior reviews) @ almost $20 a 50g skein.
But it did turn out to be a great yarn and I will keep this scarf for special occasions for myself......until the price comes down.
Hope this helps someone else that might like to try this yarn.
Jo
