Shepherd Sport yarn presents a colorful and soft opportunity for knitting. The camouflage knits up beautifully for the trapper hat my grandson requested. Now if I only had a real pattern rather than cobbling one together I would be in heaven

This and Koigu would be my two desert island yarns. What kind of island limits you to one yarn? I knit it at everything from fingering weight to almost DK. Consistently fabulous.

I have made a few items in the sport weight and love it! The yarn glides so smoothly. The touch is soft and the finished items always look wonderful! Knitted or crocheted!

I am using this for a pair of Uncle Frank socks - just enough varigation in the yarn to keep things interesting, and yet, it doesn't obscure the cables. Yarn is wound tight enough to use wooden needles blunt tips, but still nice and bouncy.
